Marina Pumpout Operational

The Operations Committee reports that the pumpout is now operational. The pumpout is currently unlocked until some work on the lock is finished. This means that all three services (power, water, pumpout) are up and running at the marina.

IMPORTANT MARINA RULES CHANGES

New marina rules were approved by the HSIA Board of Directors on January 26, 2012. These rule changes could affect your ability to keep your slip. Changes to the rules make it very important that you pay on time or make other arrangements before the payment deadline (see section 5).

1. Slip holders will receive a 10% discount if paid, in full, by March 1st.
2. If you have not paid your fees and provided ALL the required documentation (or made other arrangements) by April 1st then you will lose your slip. Being away for the winter will not excuse you from meeting this deadline.

Additional changes to the rules may cause you to lose your slip if your boat is neglected or not maintained in a safe, operable, and seaworthy condition. You can also lose your slip if you do not have a boat suitable for the assigned slip or do not have a boat in your slip for long periods of time (see section 7).

There are also new rules concerning temporary renting (subletting) of empty slips by HSIA and new rules governing when you have a guest occupy your slip or a transient slip (see section 6).

Please read the new rules (MARINA RULES AND REGULATIONS 01-26-12.pdf) and make sure you understand the changes before signing your invoice agreeing to be bound by them.

The Marina Committee intends to strictly enforce these new rules.
