HILLSMERE GARDEN CLUB The Garden Club invites men and women to the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library at 12:30 pm for a “cup of tea” and an interesting program related to gardens. You do not have to have a “green thumb” to participate in our monthly meetings. We have arranged to have talented gardeners and historians present programs for us. On Wednesday, November 17, Ms. Mollie Rideout, the Horticulturist from Paca Gardens, will be at our meeting to describe the gardens of Mr. William Ferris. On Tuesday, November 30, we will prepare the greens for decorating the entrance at Hillsmere and the gates to Quiet Waters Park. This is when we need your decorating talents as we prepare for the holidays. For more information, please contact Katie Berry at 410-263-1937. ----------------------------------- All are welcome to attend our meetings, even if you are not a Hillsmere resident. For the most part, we meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Eastport/Annapolis Neck Library at 12:30 pm. We have a social/refreshment time, a business meeting and then a program or presentation. FYI - In case of bad weather, we follow the Anne Arundel County school advisories. With a two hour delay, we will meet at our normal time of 12:30 pm, and when schools close early, we will not meet. The Hillsmere Garden Club meets the third Wednesday morning of the
month, September through April, 12:30pm at the Eastport/Annapolis Neck Library.
Meetings are open to the public and membership is open to all who are
interested. Dues are $15.00 a year.
Our activities center on education and community service.
Invited speakers talk on everything from Bayscaping to antique vases.
There are hands-on workshops and field trips.
Anyone interested in joining can print and complete the membership form below and
bring it to one of the meetings. Garden
