Adult Interaction, Anyone?

Did you know that there are a bazillion children under the age of 18 living in Hillsmere?  And that there's a group formed to help get parents to know one another and get out of the house? (Oh, and the kids get to play, too!)

Whether you're staying home with the kids or working full-time, we'd love to add you to this group!  We welcome caregivers for kids of all ages for playgroups, monthly Mom's Night Out events (that's right, you too can leave the house after dark!), and other fun activities.  Friday morning playgroup runs from 10am to noon, and is usually geared towards younger kids who have not yet entered school full-time.  There are always a few babies in attendance who aren't actually old enough to play yet, so don't be shy about joining just because your little one is really, really little!  Additional activities are for kids of all ages.  Sometimes we meet at the beach, sometimes at group members' homes, and sometimes we take low-cost field trips to local parks, fire stations, llama barns, and the like.

The group receives a weekly email outlining plans for that week's playgroup, Mom's Night Out info, and information regarding other local events in Hillsmere and the larger Annapolis area.  If you'd like to be added to the mailing list or would simply like to learn more about the group, please contact Emily Auerswald: eauerswald@gmail.com.
