Among the issues discussed at the September 2011 and October 2011 meetings, two were of immediate concern
for marina members.
First: six committees have been established to handle Piers and Harbors issues. There is a link in the right-hand sidebar to the organizing
document that you can read to see which committee handles which things. Committees can be contacted by email.
Second: the dredging project is beginning and it will have an impact on a number of boat owners, both slipholders and those moored in the
creek. There is an informative article in the October 2011 Sea Breeze that gives details of the entire project and its impact on Hillsmere. From
the marina perspective, boats will need to be moved temporarily to accomodate the dredgers, and this activity is being managed by Bill Anderson.
